Professional Experience
Prior to joining Preg O'Donnell, Monica practiced a wide variety of insurance defense matters, including: complex personal injury, commercial automobile liability, premises liability, products liability, and insurance coverage matters. Her current focus involves school law, construction defect, and general civil litigation.
Education
Monica graduated from University of San Diego School of Law in 2019. As a law student, she completed over 100 hours of pro bono service, received a CALI Award for attaining the highest grade in her Judicial Lawmaking class, and externed for Judge M. James Lorenz of the United States District Court, Southern District of California. Monica was also selected as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Writing & Research class to assist first year law students with their research, writing, and oral argument skills.

Work/Life Balance
Outside of the office, Monica enjoys camping with her dog, indoor cycling, cooking, and visiting local pastry shops.
