Christopher J. Roslaniec

Professional Experience

Since graduating law school, Chris has been engaged in civil litigation in a variety of areas including maritime claims, public records actions, defamation defense, and intellectual property issues. For the past five years, Chris's practice has primarily focused on defending first- and third-party insurance matters in both federal and state courts. He has tried cases to verdict as both first and second chair.

In addition to trial level civil litigation, Chris has substantial appellate experience and has represented numerous parties and amicus curiae at both the Washington Supreme Court and the division level Washington Appellate Courts.

Education

Chris obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics at Western Washington University in 2005. Chris received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2008, graduating cum laude.

Chris is co-author of the First Amendment chapter of the Washington State Association for Justice's 2011 Civil Rights Deskbook as well as various CLE materials on public records in Washington.
