Greg Fry of POG’s Portland office returned the firm’s fifth successful defense result in a premises liability slip and fall case in Clark County, WA. Greg represented a hotel operator who was being sued by a guest who fell on the hotel’s premises.
Plaintiff demanded $645,000 prior to trial. A counter-offer of $25,000 was made. The case proceeded to trial, and Greg was successful on three critical pre-trial motions after jury selection, resulting in an exclusion of key pieces of the Plaintiff’s liability and damage case. Following the granting of these Motions in Limine the Plaintiff elected to voluntarily dismiss the case without prejudice.
