The Members of Preg, O’Donnell & Gillett are pleased to announce that attorney David Chawes has been designated as “Of Counsel” with the firm. This is a reflection of the excellent quality of service, integrity and passion for the law that David has exemplified throughout his career at Preg, O’Donnell & Gillett.

David graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2004, and during his time there he served as Executive Editor (Note & Comment) for the Seattle University Law Review. Prior to going to law school, David worked as a Certified Industrial Hygienist, experience which served him well in the many environmental law cases he has handled with the firm over the years. In addition to handling environmental matters including numerous asbestos cases, David has also worked on a variety of products liability matters, copyright infringement cases, and WISHA claims. David’s passion for providing the highest quality service to his clients shows in all of his work, and was exemplified when he was selected as King County Bar Association Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month for his four-year long effort to obtain disability benefits for a disabled member of the community. David is also a regular speaker at seminars on topics relating to construction and environmental law.

David’s excellence in service will continue to benefit the clients of Preg, O’Donnell & Gillett as he moves into his Of Counsel position with the firm.
