Preg, O’Donnell & Gillett Member Lori O’Tool and Associate Greg Latendress will be featured speakers at the WDTL’s Annual Construction Law Update on March 4, 2016 at the Washington State Convention Center. They will provide an update on recent Appellate Court decisions, Superior Court results, and Legislative activity. Specific topics will include recent trial rulings on general contractor vicarious liability for subcontractor WISHA violations, the trial outcome of Afoa v. Port of Seattle, appellate court decisions on the independent duty doctrine, and pending legislation proposed by the plaintiff’s bar to increase mandatory arbitration limits from $50,000 to $75,000.
Ms. O’Tool is a regular speaker at this event, having presented at last year’s conference as well.
